NOTE: This is the alternative fluffy ending to part 1 (obviously xD). See link in the description for the first part :3
Quadruple-checking that no one was around him, Lovino buried his head into his arms, and allowed himself a few tears. Dammit, it was true, wasn't it? No one liked him, let alone Antonio. That stupid bastardo. Actually, Lovino himself was also an idiot; he had let himself believe that perhaps Antonio cared; perhaps he had a shot at love
He knew better, now. He would lock away his heart from now on; there was no need for love, or Antonio. The stupid bastardo could go with his equally idiotic friends, and Lovino wouldn't give a
Great. Wonderful. He was even hearing voices now.
Why won't my brain shut up?!
A shiver ran down Lovino's spine. He didn't think that he could imagine the feel of Antonio lifting his chin up.
The chains that Lovino had imagined binding his heart instantaneously lacerated as he stared into Antonio's jade-green eyes.
"Wh-what are you doing here, bastardo?" he choked out, desperately trying to stop crying, to stop showing weakness in front of this perfect man
"What's wrong, Lovi?"
"No-Nothing, you bastardo!!! Go AWAY. Why can't you leave me alone?" he said, as a wave of tears capriciously swam down his cheeks. Lovino looked away, avoiding Antonio's piercing gaze, and shoved his comforting hand away from his shoulder.

Lovino put his head down into his arms and sobbed once more. He had done it again. Why couldn't he ever be personable?
Lovino's imagination was running wild againhe could hear Antonio's footsteps pounding toward his direction; he could feel Antonio's warm figure kneeling down next to him, and whisper warm words of comfort into his ear. Antonio paused for a slight moment, then told Lovino the words that Lovino had been waiting to hear for an eternity:
You may hate me, but I love you.
Even though Lovino knew it was his imagination, he couldn't keep himself from looking up.
Antonio's face was actually two inches away from his, and, this time, it didn't feel like five meters.
Seeing the moroseness still reflected in Lovino's swollen, puffy eyes, Antonio's face fell slightly. He gave Lovino a small, sad smile, and started to walk away dejectedly.
But before Antonio could go anywhere, Lovino's hand shot out, and grabbed his foot.
" he murmured softly. "You
It was impossible for nice words to come out of Lovino's mouth, but his feelings were clearly displayed in his eyes.
Huh. Lovino didn't need to wait until tomorrow, after all.
